<p>The territory of Cameroon covers 112.6 thousand square kilometers, as of 2004, including a forest area of 26,750.0 square kilometers, as of 2000.</p>
<p>The population of the country is 16.0 millions, as of 2004. The population growth rate equals to 1.8 percent.</p>
<p>The life expectancy rate in Cameroon is estimated as 46.0 years, as of 2004.</p>
<p>Fertility rate was calculated at 4.8 births per woman in 2004.</p>
<p>In the same year, the infant mortality rate per one thousand births made up 87.2.</p>
<p>As far as education issue is concerned, the rate of primary school enrollment in the year 2004 amounted to 113.9, secondary school enrollment – 43.8, and tertiary school enrollment – 5.3.</p>
<p>The Gross National Income of Cameroon (Atlas Method) amounted to 13.0 billions in 2004. The same figure per capita in the same year equalized 810.0.</p>
